Brief

'Environmental and print design for 2018 convention and awards gala'

We worked closely with ASAP to establish their aim and desired image for the events.  As the global accrediting body within the serviced apartment industry they are a corporation who are inclusive, professional and set the industry standard.  It was essential that the design for the events portrayed the pinnacle of professionalism, reflected ASAP’s values and had a strong impact. There were two events held in the same room, however, through the environmental design we wanted to achieve significantly different feelings for the attendees.  The two-day convention was professional and business like with a sense of quality whereas the gala dinner was a luxurious, awards celebration.

For the day-convention, a re-design was requested from previous conventions, which allowed us to re-fresh the print media by toning down the use of red and featuring ASAP’s brand colour of grey.  This accentuated the red ASAP logo and made it ‘pop’ from both the environment and print media. We kept the internal design of the convention programme clean and consistent, to allow the content to take centre-stage.

To truly make the gala dinner a celebration to remember, we selected a luxurious colour scheme of black, to represent premium luxury, enhanced by elements of purple to resonate with regal richness.  The ASAP name sat in white text, which again added to the luxurious feel, whilst staying true to the brand colour pallette.

The media and environment for both events were a resounding success and, we are sure you will agree, represent ASAP’s great brand brilliantly.
